From a mere Rs 1 million turnover in the first year of operation, the turnover has rapidly risen to touch Rs 14 million in 1994-95, to cross Rs 20 million in 1995-96.

Backed by a comfortable financial base, DI Telecommunications is constantly devising ways and means to upgrade its product range and make the available services more cost-effective.

The present activities of the Group can be categorised as under:

* Manufacturing : DDF, Multialarm System, Housing & Enclosures, CTS Racks, Customised Cabinets, etc.

* Services : Project related services like Survey, Trenching, Ducting, Cabling, Splicing, Locational linking, Liaison with municipal authorities, Installation, Testing, Commissioning etc.

* Sourcing & Supply : External and Internal plant accessories and miscellaneous items like CT boxes, GI Poles, Cables etc.

• Yearly contracts with various DOT districts for installation, commissioning of Radio equipment including MARR, UHF/VHF and PCM, including civil works and cabling.

• Civil construction and installation of equipment for DSS Mobile and Koshika Telecom.

• Various ongoing OFC laying and splicing jobs for DOT.

• Successfully laid 100 Km of armoured OFC cable in separate/common trench in record time, for OLEX-L & T.

• Detailed route survey, documentation, testing and laying of cable, for GAIL in consortium with OPTEL under DESU-Maruti Pipeline.

• Supply of Digital & Fibre Distribution Frames, CTS racks, Sub racks, Slim racks to Siemens, HFCL, PCL for installation at DOT and MTNL. These were manufactured under strict quality control at the company’s own facility.

• Supply of DDF’s to Lucent Tech. HFCL, NOKIA for Cellular Network.
